Bradleys Both is a Community Primary School which caters for children from the ages of 4 to 11. It serves primarily the parish of High and Low Bradley, and welcomes children from further afield if places are available.
The school was built in 1914 and extended in the 1960s when the hall and kitchen were added. There are three classrooms in the main building and a further two freestanding units in the school grounds. Each of the five classrooms has an interactive whiteboard and PC access. The hall/gymnasium doubles up as the dining area. A well-equipped and recently upgraded ICT room adjoins the hall, as does a well-stocked library/resource centre. A new technology room is being built in the Summer term 09.
Bradley School’s play area is a source of envy to many! We have a large asphalt playground, incorporating some play areas designed for the use of the younger children, as well as a playing field to the rear of the school. We are also very lucky to have two adventure /environmental play areas with soft play surfaces, one for the sole use of the children in Key Stage 1 (age 4-7) and one designed for the older children.
"The school offers outstanding academic support and guidance and pupils are very well cared for in school. Pupils act safely and show a mature appreciation of different views and cultures. Their vigorous interest in sport and healthy living, as well as their advanced literacy, numeracy and ICT skills mean they are very well prepared for their future lives."
